Visiting South Florida?

Your dialysis doesn't take a vacation. We welcome snowbirds and traveling patients from across the U.S. and around the world — with private rooms and seamless records transfer.

Simple Process

How It Works

Three steps and you're set. We handle the coordination so you don't have to.

1

Call Before You Travel

Give us a call or fill out our contact form. Tell us your travel dates and we'll check your insurance and schedule your sessions in advance.

2

We Coordinate Everything

We contact your home clinic and nephrologist to transfer labs, prescriptions, and treatment plans. You don't have to chase paperwork.

3

Arrive & Relax

Walk into your private room, settle into a heated massage chair, and let our team take care of the rest. We'll even pick you up.

The Crown Difference

Why Visiting Patients Choose Crown

Private Rooms — Not an Open Floor

Unlike large chain centers, every patient at Crown dialyzes in their own private room with a door that closes. Real privacy, real dignity.

Same Doctor, Every Visit

Dr. Bharat K. Gupta, a board-certified nephrologist with 25+ years of experience, personally oversees every patient. No rotating physicians.

Netflix, Wi-Fi & Heated Massage Chairs

40-inch flat-screen TVs with HBO and Netflix, high-speed Wi-Fi, and heated massage chairs make treatment comfortable.

24/7 On-Call Support

Our call service is available around the clock. A healthcare professional is always just a phone call away, even on weekends and holidays.

Questions from Visiting Patients

How far in advance should I contact you?
We recommend reaching out at least 2–3 weeks before your trip. This gives us time to verify your insurance, coordinate with your home nephrologist, and schedule your sessions. That said, we can often accommodate shorter notice — just call us.
What information do you need from my home clinic?
We'll need your recent lab results, current medication list, treatment prescription (including dialysis orders), and any relevant medical history. We handle the coordination directly with your home clinic — you don't need to collect the paperwork yourself.
Will my Medicare cover dialysis at Crown?
Yes. Medicare covers transient dialysis at any Medicare-certified facility, and Crown Dialysis is fully Medicare-certified. We also accept Medicare Advantage plans and most major commercial insurance.
Can I bring a family member or caregiver?
Absolutely. Your companion is welcome to stay with you during treatment. Our private rooms have space for a guest, and we have a comfortable waiting area as well.
What if I need help outside of treatment hours?
We have a 24/7 on-call service. A healthcare professional is always just a phone call away — nights, weekends, and holidays included.
